Social networking sites distracting drivers!

The addiction to facebook, twitter and other social networking sites are resulting most of the drivers risking lives of most people, revealed by latest studies.

As per the researches made by ecar insurance company, 9% drivers use mobile internet while driving, they have been found most of the times using facebook accounts and using twitter.

The head of underwriting and risk namely Mike Pickard at ecar insurance company agreed that, “There is place and time for using social network sites, but definitely it is not while driving”. “With advancements in technology and increasing applications of mobile phone, drivers are being greatly distracted”.

It has been also revealed that about 90% motorists caught using their mobile phones have admitted that it is an offence.
